Introducing Mrs. Alla Kegulskiy, a distinguished figure in the dance world and the inspiring Founder and Artistic Director of Fantasy Dance School. Born in Chisinau, Moldova, Mrs. Alla proudly represents the fourth generation in a family dedicated to the art of teaching. She holds a master’s degree in Fine Arts with a specialization in choreography, as well as prestigious certifications as a Ballet Master and Ballet Teacher, all earned at The State Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts in Moldova in 1996. Her academic journey began with honors in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary and preschool Pedagogy and Psychology.

With a lifelong passion for dance, Mrs. Alla brings over 46 years of experience in both performing and teaching. Her career includes collaborations with renowned ensembles such as the “Joc” State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble of Moldova and The Moldova Opera & Music Theatre Company, alongside celebrated companies including “Khora Mare,” “Martishor,” and “Ciocirlia.” These experiences offered her the opportunity to work alongside some of the world’s most esteemed choreographers.

Mrs. Alla also contributed to Moldova’s arts education as a lecturer in Ballet and Teaching Techniques at “Ion Creanga” Pedagogical State University for six years and served as the Artistic Director at Vadul Lui Voda’s Assembly of Music and Dance in Moldova. Her career as a dancer has taken her to nearly 30 countries, gracing international stages with her talent.

Upon moving to the United States, Mrs. Alla founded Fantasy Dance Studio in 2002, starting with just four students. This has since flourished into a vibrant community of over 200 families, nurturing countless students who have gone on to become professional teachers, dancers, and choreographers. Her multifaceted expertise in stage management, costuming, technical theatre, and graphic design are now integral to the enriching and dynamic experience provided at Fantasy Dance School, where she showcases these skills daily.

In 2019, Fantasy Dance Studio evolved into Fantasy Dance School, a thriving educational center offering an extensive selection of classes, including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Tumbling, Gymnastics, TNT, Judo, Art, Preschool, Pre-K, an After-school Program, and much more. With over 250 weekly classes, Fantasy Dance School embodies Mrs. Alla’s vision for holistic enrichment in a welcoming environment.

Mrs. Alla is also a proud mother of two beautiful and talented daughters, who inspire her with their own achievements and creativity.

As an educator and Artistic Director, she takes immense pride in her hand-selected team of highly skilled and experienced teachers—who she considers among the best in the world. Mrs. Alla’s dedication to finding instructors who share her passion and commitment to excellence ensures that students at Fantasy Dance School receive the finest education and mentorship.
