FDS ELITE COMPETITIVE PROGRAM
Welcome to the Elite Competitive Program!​
Welcome to the pinnacle of dance excellence at Fantasy Dance School. Our Elite Competitive Program is designed for our most dedicated and experienced dancers, ages 7 and up, who aspire to excel in ballet, contemporary, jazz, and hip-hop disciplines. This program cultivates not only technical prowess but also fosters teamwork, discipline, and a passion for artistic expression.

At Fantasy Dance School, we believe in nurturing the artistic and personal growth of each dancer. Our Elite Competitive Program sets high standards of excellence, encouraging dancers to push their boundaries and achieve their fullest potential. We emphasize dedication, discipline, resilience, and respect, both for oneself and for fellow team members.
Placements by Levels

Level I: Ages 7-8

Level II: Ages 9-11

Level III: Ages 12-14

Level IV: Ages 15 and up
Each level requires a minimum number of dancers to form an FDS ELITE Competition Team, ensuring a dynamic and cohesive group dynamic.
Auditions and Requirements
Placement in our Elite Competitive Program is by audition only, ensuring that each dancer meets the rigorous technical and performance standards expected of an FDS ELITE team member. Auditions typically occur in May, with the potential for a second audition following our summer intensives. Specific prerequisites and requirements vary by level and style, encompassing ballet, contemporary, jazz, and hip-hop techniques.
Participation
Participants in the FDS ELITE Competition Program can expect:

2 Competitions per year: Showcasing skills and teamwork in regional and national competitions.

1 Convention: Immersing dancers in workshops, masterclasses, and networking opportunities with industry professionals.

1 Workshop with Guest Choreographer: Enabling dancers to learn from and collaborate with renowned choreographers in each style.
Intensives
Prepare for success with our 3 WEEKS OF SUMMER INTENSIVE! Our intensive training sessions are designed for committed, engaged students who are dedicated to honing their skills for the upcoming season. Dancers auditioning for the 2025-2026 Elite Competition Team or FDTroupe are required to attend at least two out of the three weeks of intensives.

Each faculty member is passionate about dance and dedicated to providing exceptional training, ensuring personalized guidance and support for every dancer.
Elite Communications
All communications regarding Elite Competition Teams will be conducted via email or the Band application. Families will need to download the Band application to receive important updates and announcements. A link to the Band application will be provided soon—stay tuned!
Elite Parents Meetings
As part of our commitment to fostering clear communication and ensuring the success of our students, we hold Elite Parents Meetings twice a year. These meetings are mandatory and are scheduled as follows:

Beginning of the Competition Session: This meeting sets the tone for the upcoming season and provides essential information and updates.

Before Next Year's Auditions: This meeting prepares both parents and students for the audition process and reviews the past year's achievements and areas for improvement.
